Emergency Alarm Response
Alarms create their own need for security services. False alarms are unavoidable, and they usually happen at 4am when you’re at home. You can rest easy knowing that Code 3 Security Services will respond to your alarm.

The city of Fort St. John currently employs a by-law fine program for false alarms. If the police are called to your false alarm, you could be fined up to $200 per callout for their attendance (depending on false alarm frequency).

  
 
 
Here’s a typical alarm callout:
  • A sensor is tripped activating the alarm
  • Your system notifies a monitoring company
  • Monitoring company calls Code 3 Security
  • Code 3 Security responds and checks for signs of forced entry
  • If no signs are found, Code 3 enters and sweeps the building and re-enables the alarm system, a report is left for your reference
  • If signs of forced entry are found, the police, and you are notified
